Project Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the full life cycle of residential construction projects, from pre-construction planning through to final walk through and close-out. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator and expert problem-solver with deep knowledge of residential building practices.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in project management within residential construction.
Proven success managing custom home builds and remodeling projects.
Deep understanding of construction methods, local building codes, and permitting processes.
Strong leadership, communication, and client-relations skills.
Proficient with construction management software and general software such as Microsoft 365.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in various stages of completion.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Day-to-Day Duties
Review project schedules and adjust timelines as needed.
Communicate with clients on updates, selections, and approvals.
Collaborate with the site team to address any field issues or design changes.
Coordinate inspections and ensure documentation is up to date.
Approve subcontractor billing and vendor invoices.
Track budget and identify any scope or cost deviations.
Attend job site walkthroughs, pre-construction meetings, and punch-list reviews.
Maintain digital project records, communications, and logs.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all phases of residential construction projects including custom home builds, renovations, and remodels.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, and permitting authorities during planning and design.
Select, negotiate, and manage subcontractors and vendors.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the duration of each project.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality control.
Anticipate project risks and proactively address potential delays or budget impacts.
Review and approve invoices, change orders, and progress payments.
Ensure adherence to building codes, company standards, and client expectations.
Work closely with Site Supervisors to support daily operations and problem resolution.
